Data We Collect

To provide the app's features we collect the following information:

• Account info – name, email address, and profile details you provide.
• Match data – sports matches you create or join, scores, and related activity.
• Chat messages – messages you send within the app.
• Location (optional) – used to find nearby matches, only when you grant permission.
• Calendar access (optional) – used to add matches to your calendar, only when you grant permission.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide app functionality:

• Matching you with other players
• Enabling in-app chat
• Displaying profiles and match history
• Tracking payments between players

Storage & Infrastructure

Data is stored using Google Firebase services (Firestore and Cloud Storage). Firebase acts as our infrastructure provider and processes data on our behalf. For details on Firebase's data practices, see Firebase Privacy and Security.

Third Parties

We do not sell, share, or provide your personal data to any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. The only third-party service that processes your data is Firebase/Google, used strictly for infrastructure.

Advertising

Sportsplit does not display ads and does not use any advertising SDKs.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data directly within the app through Settings. If you need help, contact us at iclibera@gmail.com.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
